A natureza circundante é o maior chamariz de Reguengos de Monsaraz, com a paz de espírito característica do Alentejo, existindo, não obstante, diversos pontos de interesse nesta bonita região, como a Igreja de Santo António (século XIX, em estilo neogótico), ou a Herdade do Esporão, e todo o património megalítico encontrado por todo o concelho.

Região de tradições bem mantidas e acarinhadas, é igualmente conhecida pela qualidade do seu artesanato reconhecido a nível nacional, como é o caso da olaria de São Pedro do Corval, o primeiro centro oleiro do País, e o afamado fabrico das mantas de Reguengos, que remonta às próprias origens da vila.

The history of Reguengos de Monsaraz is intertwined with that of Monsaraz, one of the most important villages in the municipality, and one of the most beautiful in Alentejo and in the country. This is a region of ancient human occupation, and within its limits there are numerous Paleolithic remains that confirm the existence of cultures from another time. Later, the region was inhabited by Romans, Visigoths and Muslims, having been conquered from the Moors, in 1167, by King D. Afonso Henriques.

The surrounding nature is the main attraction of Reguengos de Monsaraz, with the peace of mind characteristic of the Alentejo, although there are several points of interest in this beautiful region, such as the Church of Santo António (19th century, in neo-Gothic style), or the Herdade do Esporão, and all the megalithic heritage found throughout the municipality.

A region of well-maintained and cherished traditions, it is also known for the quality of its nationally recognized craftsmanship, such as the pottery of São Pedro do Corval, the first pottery center in the country, and the famous manufacture of blankets in Reguengos, which goes back to the very origins of the village.
